Da Vinci Academy and STEAM Works Studio are partnering to bring a STEM-focused summer camp for young learners in rising grades 1-3! With lots of hands-on learning and a science focus, morning and afternoon sessions will have different activities for campers to participate in.
Morning sessions: Simple Circuits
Learn electronic fundamentals in this hands-on DIY circuitry course. Campers will construct and decorate glowing paper and wooden crafts while learning about different types of electrical energy sources, how batteries work, conductivity, switches, LEDs and more!
Afternoon sessions: Scratch Arcade Games
SCRATCH by MIT is a great way for young children to learn coding fundamentals. Using SCRATCH, campers will employ colorful drag-and-drop coding blocks to create classic games such as Pong and Pacman!
